winning a 3 point major on Friday, October 8, 2010! She had already won 9 points at smaller shows (1-2 points each) and required 2 major show wins (3 points to 5 points) to reach the 15 points needed to become a champion.
To earn 3 points, she won over 12 other bitches.
(Points are determined by number of dogs or bitches competing.)
Here she is on Saturday October, 9th, again with her handler, at a bigger show near Philadelphia, PA, after winning a 5 point major!!! (over 20 bitches!!)
But the BEST NEWS is: SHE IS NOW HOME!!!
My goodness, how understated'!!!!!! Reny finished with a huge BANG. For those who read this and may not know, it is Not overly common for a puppy bitch to finish a championship, and RARE to do it with a FIVE POINT MAJOR!!! And this after her many accomplishments in her short career of three months of showing -- she won Best Standard Puppy in Specialty Shows, Group One, Group Three and NonSporting Group Three. Might be more but that puppy did extremely well. She truly is better than most. And in addition to her beauty and grace, great movement in the ring, she has the most wonderful temperament - a darling girl. She has it all...
