Puppies due around April 10th!

Mondo and Lady are expecting puppies on or about the week after Easter, (April 10th is the approximate due date).  The ultrasound confirmed multiple puppies but the vet could not get an accurate count.

Lady has started to be a little more clingy--- following me everywhere!  And her appetite has increased a good bit.  I have added puppy food to her diet as well as increasing her to three meals a day with two snacks in between meals.

Luminary Rudolf loves Clarise receives Award of Merit at Westminster Dog Show!!!

Clarise is the daughter of Mondo and Merry!  How happy we are here at "Maryland" to know these wonderful dogs and the person who has bred such gorgeous poodles!!!

Maggie's home!!!

Here is our Maggie, home from the show circuit for a few months to grow coat for the adult clip called "the Continental"!

Her handler gave me her grooming schedule…bath on day one and band, brush and re-band on day 3, bath and band on day 6….repeat.  Oh my.

So far, just did the brush and re-band.  Oh my.  Here she is after that grooming session!!!

Lady and Mondo

We had a successful breeding of Mondo to Lady this week! We hope to confirm puppies (or not) by ultrasound the second week of March.  Will keep you all posted!

At our new home we have a pond and have been watching the geese fly in and land…our dogs have 

been watching also, with great interest!!!

Maggie in 5 shows this week!

Starting Tuesday, Maggie will be showing almost daily…2 Specialty shows on Tuesday…all in Florida!

Wish her luck and good hair days!!!  She has 5 points now…needs 15 to finish.  These shows have larger entries so more points can be earned.  We at Maryland Standard Poodles are keeping our fingers and paws crossed for her success!  Regardless, we will be bringing her home on or around her birthday for a Big birthday party with her family.
